Deborah Venegas is an LA-based, Costa-Rican-made writer and director with big feelings that she filters into stories instead of hashing them out in therapy. She has directed music videos for various bands, including one for Midnight Faces, "utilizing creepy, impervious dolls to play out the emotional distance in a relationship," which premiered on Vice's music blog Noisey. She co-wrote and directed a web series, "Watch the Pretty Girls Suffer," for the anti-romantic, exploring the romance that ensues between a psychologist and a psychopath. Her peers selected her film Bobby and Henry for her end-of-year showcase at her film program, where she also filmed a bunch of other video projects on a shoestring budget.

Having already experimented with Cheap/Good and Cheap/Fast, she looks forward to the day she gets a stab at Fast/Good with a chunk of change. That is if she HAS to pick two.

Thank you for reading. Catch you in a half-dream.
